We encourage kindness and solidarity between humans and animals, and with each other, by promoting causes that will make the world better for our generation and future generations that will follow in our wake.

Our History
The Brady Hunter Foundation owes its name and inspiration to two dogs. The first was Brady, who brought 16 years of love and happiness to our Founder, Josh Fox. The second is Brady’s brother Hunter, who continues to embody the unbreakable bond between humans and animals.
We believe that all species are created equal, which lies at the core of our mission, and our work. We continue to embody the spirit of Brady and Hunter as we make a positive impact on the lives of animals, children, our fellow humans, and the world around us.

Executive Director
Josh Fox is the founder and Executive Director of The Brady Hunter Foundation (BHF), a non-profit dedicated to animal advocacy, protecting wildlife, and empowering our children, among various other important causes. Under his leadership, BHF has been able to effectuate meaningful change through advocacy, education, and hands-on, direct action, and it has blossomed from an aspirational idea only a few years ago to a global non-profit powerhouse with over 80 strategic charitable partners and a footprint in more than a dozen countries.
Josh is a dynamic leader with a proven ability to build diverse teams and encourage innovation. With over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur and philanthropist, Josh combines his expertise in building teams and driving innovation with a deep commitment to social responsibility. Before founding BHF, Josh led a global consultancy firm that helped businesses recover savings so that they could reinvest in themselves and better impact the community at large.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan, where he developed the analytical skills that have served as the foundation for his entrepreneurial and philanthropic work. His academic background, coupled with his real-world business experience, enables him to approach complex social issues with a practical yet compassionate mindset.
Through his leadership at BHF, Josh continues to drive forward the organization’s mission to advocate for the rights and welfare of animals while creating opportunities to uplift children around the world. His vision for a more inclusive, compassionate society fuels his daily work as he seeks to ensure a brighter, more just future for all living beings.
In addition to being the founder and Executive Director of BHF, Josh is a member of the Board of the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation, as well as the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation, a non-profit that serves as the financial “first responders” for federal officers and agents who are injured or killed in the line of duty.
Josh has been nominated for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Miami’s prestigious “12 Good Men” of 2025, as well as recognized with the 2025 Pegasus Wings Award, an award from the Pegasus Foundation that recognizes outstanding individuals and programs that have made a significant difference in Marine Animal Rescue and Protection, Wildlife and Habitat Protection, and Animal Welfare. He also received the 2025 Brian Davies Award from Network For Animals, an annual accolade given to those whose outstanding work succeeds in helping animals against overwhelming obstacles, and he was included in Dan’s Papers East End Power List in 2023 and 2024.
Finally, Josh recently earned his first Executive Producer’s credit for his work on the educational television show “Extraordinary World with Jeff Corwin,” which previously aired on CBS Saturday morning television, which follows The Brady Hunter Foundation’s “extraordinary” work throughout the country, enhancing the lives of animals and children, and encouraging ordinary people to do extraordinary things through charity and philanthropy.

As the Chief of Philanthropy & Brand Development at The Brady Hunter Foundation, Paige drives awareness and expands the Foundation’s impact through strategic communications, partnership development, and powerful storytelling. With a background as a TV reporter and media strategist, Paige has built a career focused on creating compelling campaigns that inspire action and raise awareness for important social causes.
At the Foundation, Paige plays a key role in amplifying the organization’s mission to empower underserved youth and advocate for animal welfare. She excels in forging meaningful partnerships and generating visibility for the Foundation’s work, aligning with founder Josh Fox’s vision to foster positive change in the community. With a commitment to social impact and a passion for storytelling, Paige uses her skills to help create a more equitable world and shape a brighter future for animals and people alike.
Paige’s expertise spans broadcasting, marketing, and philanthropy with a reputation for crafting media strategies that connect with audiences on a deep level. Her career also includes TV reporting for corporate and lifestyle brands, as well as working in tv production for a series of news and docs, reality and gameshows.
With a commitment to social impact and a passion for storytelling, Paige is a leading voice in media and philanthropy, using her skills to create a more equitable world and shape a brighter future for those in need.
David Kanfer
Chief of Staff
David serves as the Chief of Staff at the Brady Hunter Foundation, where he oversees all of the Foundation’s day-to-day activities, including supervising its strategic partnerships with other charitable organizations, ensuring the effectiveness of the Foundation’s grants, and spearheading the Foundation’s growth initiatives. With a deep passion for animal welfare and conservation, David plays a crucial role in advancing the Foundation’s mission to positively impact wildlife, children, and their communities.
Before joining the Foundation, David had a distinguished 20-year career as a lawyer and advisor. As a partner at two prominent law firms, David specialized in complex commercial litigation and high-stakes negotiations. His reputation for legal excellence was matched by his pragmatism and a strong ethical commitment to the greater good. After years of success in the legal field, David chose to make a life-changing shift, combining his professional expertise with his lifelong passion for animals, conservation, and empowering children.
An avid animal lover, David dreamed of becoming a veterinarian as a child. Although he ultimately pursued a career in law, his desire to make a difference for animals never faded. Now, as Chief of Staff, he channels that passion into meaningful action, guiding the Foundation’s efforts to protect endangered species, advocate for animal rights, and inspire youth to become changemakers.
David holds a BA in Political Science from Union College and a law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through all forms of exercise, including yoga, CrossFit, running, hiking and basketball, and cherishes time with his family and his chocolate lab
Shlomo Halberstam
Treasurer
Shlomo Halberstam is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 10 years of experience in finance and accounting. He currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Bottom Line Concepts LLC, a prominent contingent based cost mitigation consulting firm specializing in government aid and minimizing expenses for businesses across various industries. With an extensive background in finance, Shlomo possesses a keen understanding of investment strategies and their impact on overall financial health. As a thought leader in the field, he has been recognized for his expertise by being appointed as a member of the Forbes Finance Council. Through his contributions, Shlomo shares valuable insights and practical advice with a wide audience of professionals and entrepreneurs, helping them navigate the complexities of the financial landscape.
Shlomo Halberstam is an active member of both the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA), demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence and upholding the highest ethical standards in the finance industry. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Shlomo is deeply passionate about animal welfare and the protection of animal rights. He serves as the treasurer of the Brady Hunter Foundation, a nonprofit organization devoted to the wellbeing of animals. Through his strategic financial planning, Shlomo contributes significantly to the Foundation’s mission of advancing animal welfare and advocating for animal rights. With his vast knowledge and experience in finance and accounting, combined with his dedication to animal welfare, Shlomo Halberstam continues to shape the finance industry and make a positive impact on both the business world and the wellbeing of animals.

Maxwell Adelstein has spent the last decade working for and with many of the preeminent national and international non-profits. Max has secured millions in funding for these causes, largely attributed to his passion for serving the most vulnerable populations in the community.
Max is the grandson of a Holocaust survivor, a devoted father, fitness enthusiast, and an exuberant animal lover. Max loves to spend his spare time volunteering with local beach clean-ups, animal rescue opportunities, and advocacy efforts for underserved children.
Max brings a track record of results, integrity, professionalism, and inspiration to The Brady Hunter Foundation.

Alejandro is a versatile professional with a rich background in business management and creative arts. As an Investor, Franchise Owner, and Company Sales Trainer at The Inspiration Company, he spearheaded the development of a virtual training system, oversaw the expansion of store locations across multiple states, and adeptly managed supply chain operations, resulting in annual sales exceeding $10 million. Prior to his corporate role, Alejandro excelled as a Production / Stage Director and Photographer, where he showcased his skills by managing client appointments, leading sales teams, and capturing captivating imagery of models across various states. Alejandro continues to drive success and innovation in every aspect of his career and now brings his talents to The Brady Hunter Foundation.
