BHF Partners with Reclaimed Earth in Nkuringo, Uganda to Address Critical Water Accessibility Issues and Host Pine Rockland Cleanup to Preserve One of Miami’s Lasting Reserves
The Brady Hunter Foundation is proud to partner with Reclaimed Earth on initiatives that support both environmental conservation and community development. In Nkuringo, Uganda, located in the southern part of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, we are working to address the critical issue of water accessibility. During the dry season, children endure daily 2.5 to 3-hour journeys down the mountain for water, which impacts their education and overall well-being. This sustainable water system now provides clean, reliable water, easing these burdens, improving health, and promoting school attendance.
Closer to home, we recently joined forces with Reclaimed Earth to host a Pine Rockland cleanup in Miami, dedicated to preserving one of the region’s most vital and endangered natural reserves. These initiatives, one in Uganda and one in Miami, reflect our commitment to sustainable development, environmental stewardship, and community well-being, while also supporting the conservation of endangered species like the mountain gorilla.
