The Brady Hunter Foundation is proud to partner with Reclaimed Earth in Nkuringo, Uganda to address critical water accessibility issues. Located in the southern part of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Nkuringo faces significant challenges during the dry season, with children making daily 2.5 to 3-hour journeys down the mountain for water, impacting their education and well-being. Together, we aim to establish a sustainable water system that provides clean, reliable water for these families, promoting school attendance, easing burdens, and improving community health. This initiative not only supports the local community but also contributes to the conservation of endangered mountain gorillas, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship in Nkuringo.
