August 22, 2024 – The Brady Hunter Foundation – a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering positive change, empowering children and combating food insecurity – is excited to recognize Team USA’s amazing success during the 2024 Summer Olympics by issuing grants to the charitable foundations of several Team USA Men’s Basketball players who are similarly committed to making a difference off the court.
In recognition of winning the Gold medal on 8/10/24, the very numbers Kobe Bryant wore during his illustrious career (including his time on Team USA), The Brady Hunter Foundation will be donating $24,000 to each of the following players’ charitable foundations, for a total of $96,000:
- Bam Adebayo – Founder of “Bam, Books & Brotherhood,” which changes lives for single mothers while developing future chances, choices, & challenges for children.
- Stephen Curry – Co-founder of the “Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation,” which supports children’s well-being through access to nutritious meals, quality reading resources and opportunities to play and be active.
Jrue Holiday – Co-founder of the “The Jrue & Lauren Holiday Social Impact Fund,” which supports entrepreneurs creating positive economic change in underserved communities. Joel Embiid – Founder of “In Memory of Arthur”, which aims to enhance the lives of children through educational and health programs, focusing on underserved communities.
These organizations share missions that are closely aligned with those of The Brady Hunter Foundation, including the important goals of empowering children and providing support for the food insecure. Through their respective initiatives, these foundations address many critical needs that children face every day, including education-related, physical and mental health-related, and personal development-related — all of which are areas where The Brady Hunter Foundation continually strives to make a meaningful impact.
