The Brady Hunter Foundation is honored to be a proud sponsor of the annual W.A.R. on wheels (WOW) initiative. This annual event is dedicated to making an impact on the lives of children and families who are courageously battling cancer. W.A.R. on Wheels V marks the fifth installment of this event and promises to be an amazing journey, both physically and emotionally.
In our commitment to this cause, we are sponsoring Brad Beetham, whose daughter triumphed over a three-year battle against Stage 4 Lymphoblastic Lymphoma at the age of 10. The WOW ride is designed to simulate the challenges faced by children in their fight against cancer. The funds raised through this event will be channeled into innovative research, carefully selected by the dedicated Cal’s Angels board of directors and research committee. This research aims to advance the field and save the lives of children.
The fifth annual event, commencing on October 23rd, 2023, will cover an impressive 967 miles, with over 50,000 feet of climbing through the Allegheny Mountains. This bike ride will begin in Washington, DC, and conclude in St. Charles, IL on November 3rd, 2023.
